Black candle sand (granulated wax) is a modern and creative way to make unique candles with a bold, dramatic touch.

No Melting Required

Just like traditional sand wax, there’s no need to melt. Simply pour the black granules into your chosen container and insert a wick — quick and mess-free.

Stylish & Versatile Designs

The rich black color makes it perfect for layered effects, mixing with other sand wax colors, or creating striking monochrome candles. Popular for statement décor pieces, parties, and festive arrangements.

Reusable & Eco-Friendly

After burning, the leftover wax can be scooped out, refreshed, and reused again. Less waste, more creativity.

Perfect for Events & Décor

Black sand wax is a favorite for weddings, themed events, and luxury home décor. Its bold color adds elegance and sophistication to any setup.

Temperature to Add Fragrance

  • Gently heat sand wax granules to 75 °C – 80 °C before blending fragrance.
  • Avoid overheating, as melting completely will ruin the granular “sand” look.
  • After mixing fragrance, let it cool slightly to 65 °C – 70 °C before pouring.

Fragrance Load for Sand Wax

  • Holds 5–8% fragrance load (by weight).
  • Example: 1 kg black sand wax = 50 g – 80 g fragrance oil.
  • Recommended starting point: 6% load (good hot and cold throw without greasiness).
  • Example: 200 g wax × 0.06 = 12 g fragrance.

👉 Always use high-quality fragrance oils designed for candle making. Essential oils may not mix well with sand wax.
👉 Mix evenly into the granules by stirring slowly and thoroughly.
👉 Overloading fragrance (>8%) can cause oil seepage and weaken the sand structure.
