Platinum-cure silicones are highly sensitive and will fail to cure (remain sticky) if they come into contact with certain materials.
Avoid contact with:
Sulfur-based clays (use plastiline/wax-based clays instead)
Tin-cure silicones or tools contaminated with them
Latex gloves/rubber bands (always use Nitrile gloves)
Certain 3D-printing resins, sulfur-containing pigments, and heavy metals
Always perform a small patch-test on a new master model before pouring your full mold.
